With St Patricks weekend almost upon us Dunshaughlin GAA would like to wish everyone and their families a happy St Patricks Day and to stay safe.
Club School Link
St. Seachnaill’s National School and Dunshaughlin GAA have always enjoyed a very strong relationship in the past when it comes to Gaelic Games. Dunshaughlin GAA member and coach Kieran O’Riordan has been in St. Seachnaill’s NS for a number of weeks now coaching GAA skills with the children. This has been facilitated as part of Dunshaughlin GAA’s ongoing commitment to Coaching and Development in the community under the Club School Link programme. We hope your children have enjoyed the activities. We thank Kieran for his efforts in St. Seachnaill’s NS, and to Emmet Staunton and Tara Ryan who were in Culmullen NS and Gaelscoil na Rithe before Christmas.
Michael Johnson & Maria Kealy
We would like to wish Michael Johnson & Maria Kealy the very best of luck as the pair of lovebirds are set to wed this Sunday in Kilmainhamwood with the reception in Cabra Castle afterwards.
If you follow us in twitter you will have noticed that we have embraced Seachtain na Gaeilge which has been running from March 1 to 17. A big thanks to our Irish officer Paul Sheedy for coming up with his insightful tweets as Gaeilge.
Clubhouse Development the story so far
We are making progress on our Clubhouse Fundraising efforts and want to thank all the community for the help which has enabled to club reach a total of € 77,000 committed since the launch night on the 7th February. This is a fantastic achievement in such a short space of time. The clubs efforts to ensure the future generations in the club have a clubhouse to be proud of have not gone unnoticed by the people in charge of Meath GAA who have compliment the club and its members on their efforts. As the season now gets into full swing our new full-size flood lit pitch, Astro pitch and old full size pitch are in full use. The clubhouse we have envisioned would be a perfect complement to our playing facilities and be a great addition to all our teams. We are still on a journey to reach the € 215,000 target so all donations are greatly appreciated. If you feel you can contribute in some way, please reach out Ronan Gogan 086 8749234 or Eamon Dunne 087 2538548 for more information….every donation is treated with upmost confidence.
