Speedy recovery to Fearghal Gogan who recently underwent a cruciate ligament operation. Fearghal has been a fantastic servant to the club and we wish him all the best and who knows we might see him togging out again next summer!
- We are rapidly approaching the business end of the football year with our Minors in action on Saturday in the MFC Semi-final against St Peters Dunboyne at 3.30 in Dunsany. Best of luck to Frank, TP and all the lads. Please come along and support if you can and get the lads over the line.

- Men’s Gaelic & general fitness for over 35 returns tonight at 9-10pm in Dunshaughlin Astro pitch. Please come along tonight and register if you have Not already done so as it is a fun way to get fit. The wet weather has many people asking on twitter if training is going ahead but our chairman has assured us that him and Christy will be closing the retractable roof so rest assured it will be business as usual tonight.
- Tonight’s scheduled Minor championship game between St Vincents / Curragha and Dunshaughlin has been called off due to a bereavement . Please spread the word.
- Our U21’s are in action in the championship on Sunday morning at 11am against St Patricks. Good luck to all involved and please come along and support the lads.
Our Gaelic For Mothers and others is once again a great success. kudos to John McKenna and Colum Bracken for giving up their time and coaching the girls the skills of Gaelic football. Every training session has between 25-30 eager ladies and next Wednesday night they have their first ever challenge match and in three weeks time the girls are entered to play in a blitz so exciting times lie ahead.
A speedy recovery also to David Dunne who has had a recent bout of illness. Get well David and we hope to see you back on the pitch soon.

Dunshaughlin GAA would like to wish the very best to Stephen Clare who heads off this Friday on a 6 month tour of Syria. Stephen was a fantastic footballer and started at wing forward in Dunshaughlins first ever Senior Final in 1999 against Skryne. Long after he stopped playing he has give up his valuable time as a trainer,manager and selector in both our juvenile and adult teams and will be sorely missed around the club. Stay safe Stef and we will see you soon.

Busy weekend for the girls
Our dual start Niamh Gallogly is once more in action again this weekend with her contesting two finals. On Sat she captains the Meath U16’s as they face Waterford in Nenagh while on Sunday she is joined by Alannah Chakley as Meath play Laois in the U16 Camogie Final. Cliona O’Riordan will also be in action on Sunday with her playing for the Meath Junior B Camogie team as they go up against Kerry in the final. Good Luck girls!!
Bus to Tipp

Despite trailing by 12 points at half time the Royal Gaels turned in a powerful spirited second half performance to almost clinch a remarkable victory. Dunshaughlin has its very own ladies Dual Star with the talented lady in question being Niamh Gallogly. Niamh is involved in 2 all ireland semi-finals this weekend for her county, she captains the county football u-16s v Armagh on Saturday in birr and on Sunday lines out for the county Camogie girls v Kerry in Thurles. Proud parents Frank and Angela will no doubt have a very busy weekend as this is a great honour to the Royal Gaels whos coaching and devlopment is definetly paying off. U14 Summer League Div 2 Winners
Congratulations to our U14’s who captured the U14 Summer League Div 2 title by beating Summerhill on Wednesday Evening in Dunsany. Well done lads and to all involved. Photos will be following shortly so keep an eye on our website.
Congratulations to Ray and Aoife Maloney on the birth of their baby daughter Isabelle. Isabelle is doing good and will hopefully be home this weekend.
Our Seniors had a fantastic win on Tuesday evening in Kilberry by beating Wolfe Tones by 3 points to secure two valuable league points. It was a great ‘club’ effort so a big thank you from the club to all the players, management, committee and supporters who travelled to the game.
