Dunshaughlin 6-20 Castletown 2-5

Dunshaughlin’s second team made it five league victories in a row for the club when overwhelming visitors Castletown in Dunshaughlin on Tuesday evening. The visitors got off to a great start with an early goal and added a point before the black and ambers started what turned out to be a busy evening for the umpires at the Castletown end. James Rattigan had three quick fire points before Paddy Maher put Dunshaughlin in control with a goal and the winners held a six point advantage at half time. The second half was practically one way traffic. Wesley Goodwin hit the net twice and with goals also from Seamie Doyle, Eoin Farrelly and Niall Hurley Dunshaughlin eased to victory on a 6-20 to 2-5 scoreline.
