Dunshaughlin GAA duo with their GAA Minor Star Awards

A great day for Dunshaughlin GAA and the Costello and Mitchell families in Croke Park Saturday where Mathew Costello and Luke Mitchell were awarded with their GAA Minor Star Awards following their outstanding performances in this year’s All Ireland minor series. John Horan, GAA President, Tyrone great Seán Kavanagh and Electric Ireland CEO, Patrick Doherty madethe presentations. Also present from the club were Paul Murphy, one of the Meath selectors this year, Jim Gilligan, club secretary and Mairead Delaney, Meath GAA secretary. Well done to both players on a stand out achievement and to their families for their huge support and encouragement for the two lads.
The photos include shots Mathew with his parents Paul & Sheila, Luke with his parents Jim & Sandra, selector Paul Murphy (Paul Nestor could not attent due to work commitment but sent his best wishes), the full Minor Star award team and the presentations.
Luke was selected on the team at right corner forward with Mathew chosen at centre forward.
This caps off a fine year with the county minors for the Dunshaughlin GAA duo after they helped lead the Meath team to Leinster Championship success and the All Ireland semi-final.
