Under 13 Division 1 Shield Final –  Royal Gaels v Seneschalstown (Sunday 5/11/17 ) Hard luck to our Under 13 Division 1 girls who suffered a narrow 2 point defeat to Seneschalstown in the Under 13 Division 1 Shield Final at Dunganny today on a scoreline of 2-6 to 3-1. Cathy Quinn captained Royal Gaels and led by example throughout with an assured performance at corner back. The Black and Amber took the game to Seneschalstown from the off and Niamh McEntee opened the scoring with a goal from long range. 19 Jul | SENIORS ROLL ON WITH WIN OVER SENESCHALSTOWN

Another win for the Senior Ladies Royal Gaels faced Seneschalstown in round 5 of the Masita Senior Championship. Conditions were going to be tough for both teams as the rain continued to pour down. Just before throw in, the rain thankfully stopped. Sarah Darby won the throw in and knocked the ball down to her midfield partner Niamh O’Sullivan. She kicked the ball into Laura Murray who rounded her marker and laid the ball off to the oncoming Niamh Gallogly, raising the white flag. Seneschalstown answered that point in quick succession.
